A day of sun and showers: a handful of butterflies, the ditches running properly again (thankfully), the bluebells still holding up among plentiful wild flowers and the call of a cuckoo to add a true touch of Spring.
Myriad sights and sounds on a final April visit, it’ll be mid-May before we take another look …
