Possibly Melanoleuca sp.or Pluteus cervinus

Fungi, unidentified, September 2013

Last week’s visit found the wood full of fungi of various varieties.

Melanoleuca sp. or Pluteus cervinus – thanks to Roy for his help in identification (see below) and also to Andy.

  1. Possibly Collybia butyracea?

  2. Can’t see the gills to be absolutely sure: a Melanoleuca sp. (white spores); it might just be Pluteus cervinus (in which case the gills would be pink).
